TIMESINDONESIA, SURABAYA – Quest Hotel Darmo Surabaya, East Java launched their digital menu for their restaurant. This was aimed to minimize physical contact between their staff and the guests. This digital menu was also launched to welcome the new normal regulation which has been applied by the local government.
“The menu is in form of a QR code that needed to be scanned by the guests before ordering them. Once you scan it you all the menu including all the discount will appear on your screen, ” Agus Nurjana, Food Beverager Manager, said on Friday (19/6/2020).
Meanwhile, for the breakfast time where the hotel has a buffet style breakfast, the guests will no longer allowed to do a self-service. The guests will be served by hotel staff to eliminate them from touching the utensils so they could prevent themselves of touching unseen germ or virus that might stick on the utensils if someone else touch them.
The guests appreciate much for what the hotel has done to protect them. This make them feel more secure and safe during their stay at the hotel.
Not only stop on that, the hotel also installed a sink on the patio for their guests to wash their hand before entering the hotel. They also asked them to use hand sanitizer which has been provided by the hotel, wearing a mask, and check their body temperature to ensure that they are virus free before entering the hotel.
David Eko Susanto, Quest Hotel Darmo, Surabaya, East Java manager also said that the hotel has disinfect the area consecutively and raise their sanitary standard to protect their guests and customers. “We try to do our best to serve our guests so they could feel safe and secure as well comfortable enough to spend their time at our hotel, ” David said.
